unforgettable IMMERSIVE adventures THROUGHOUT Prospect Park.

During our 5-day summer camps, the Wonder Kids embark on adventures following mysterious messages from the fictional character Gaia – Mother Earth. They go on imaginative and real journeys throughout the park, following maps, meeting artists, and undertaking creative missions along the way.

2025 SUMMER SCHEDULE

Enjoy our five weeks of summer camp programming in Prospect Park for kids ages 5 to 11.

  • Week 1 (July 7th - 11th): Searching for Gaia

  • Week 2 (July 14th - 18th): Masters of the Elements

  • Week 3 (July 21st- 25th): Portal to the Wild

  • Week 4 (Aug 18th -22nd): Keepers of the Community

  • Week 5 (Aug 25th - 29th): A Visit from the Future

Key details and fees

  • We meet most days by the Litchfield Villa, 95 Prospect Park West. Occasionally we have other meeting points.

    • The last week of Summer we will also have a group meeting at Grand Army Plaza.

  • Multiage group: 5 to 11 years old

  • From 9am to 3pm. Late pick-up available (4pm).

  • All weather nature-based week-long camp (read our Inclement Weather Plan for more details)

  • Price: $775 per week.

  • Siblings and multi-week discounts available.

This summer we are offering 5 different week-long camps, each with a unique theme designed to teach children about our planet while engaging them in a fictional narrative and imaginary world.

week 1 (july 7-11th) - searching for gaia

Ceremony of Guardians of the Earth in Prospect Park

Gain Gaia’s trust and learn her secrets by showing that you care about our shared planet through park clean-ups, dance parties, and fantasy missions! In this adventure, the wonder kids discover nature’s intelligence and beauty and are summoned to become protectors of Gaia.

week 2 (July 14-18th) - MASTERS OF THE ELEMENTS

Learn to master the elements as we complete missions full of poetry, philosophy, and science featuring boat rides, water battles, unpoppable bubbles, and more! In this adventure, the Wonder Kids get to meet magical and real characters who teach them about each essential element: fire, water, earth, air and the mysterious fifth element.

week 3 ( july 21-25th) - PORTAL TO THE WILD

Wonder Kids cross the river at Prospect Park

Learn to harness the powers of animals and trees as we transform into wild creatures and remember that we are Nature! In this adventure, the Wonder Kids discover a gateway to their primitive selves — the part of them that is connected to all animals, plants, and nature.

week 4 (august 18-22nd) - KEEPERS OF THE COMMUNITY

Meet the people who shape and form Brooklyn through interviews and creative neighborhood explorations ending with an exciting boat journey to the city! In this adventure, the Wonder Kids meet the people taking care of our neighborhoods and discover the power of sharing and community building.

week 5 (august 25-29th) - JOURNEY TO the Future

Wonder Kids make watercolors of the city of the future

Open a portal to the future and unleash the power to create the world you want! In this adventure, the Wonder Kids receive an unexpected visitor from the future who will teach them how humanity succeeded in repairing the planet.
