AFTER SCHOOL
Give your child the gift to play freely and creatively in nature!
In our afterschool programs in Prospect Park, children ages 5 to 11 dive into hours of imaginative, hands-on play in the woods. They invent imaginary worlds, experiment with arts and crafts, learn group games, and build fantastic structures such as bridges, forts, forest hotels, and even igloos. We provide a nourishing snack and, more importantly, the freedom, trust and respect they need to be fully themselves.

KEY DETAILS:
✔ Who: 5-11 year olds
✔ What: All weather, outdoor program (read our Inclement Weather Plan for more details). In Winter (Jan-March 2026) we rent the Picnic House and run an hybrid outdoor-indoor program.
✔ When: Tuesdays (Grades K-5), Wednesdays (Grades 2-5) and Thursdays (Grades K-1) from 3.30 to 5.30pm.

✔ Where: Prospect Park West (near Litchfield Villa):
Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Wonder Village (little forest by Litchfield Villa, on Prospect Park West and 5th).
Wednesdays at the 3rd St. entrance (Prospect Park West & 3rd - by the Lion Statues).
✔ Healthy snack provided every day.
✔ Personalized attention to every child, with a teacher-student ratio of 1:5 maximum
WONDERERS
THURSDAYS AT THE WONDER VILLAGE
Our main outdoor after school program takes place in the “Wonder Village” - a whimsical forest in Prospect Park where kids feel confident to play freely with their friends and within the agreed upon boundaries. We set up creative stations to inspire imaginative play, and they do the rest!
With props, costumes, building supplies, and mysterious scrolls with missions, every day becomes a unique adventure where children develop their own games, characters, and stories through free play. Here, the Wonder Kids are free to engage with the natural world and build authentic relationships with other children.
We pick up from PS 321 Lower, PS 039 and PS 107.
Join us for a new, nomadic experience! Wonder Kids in grades 2-5 shape the adventure together. Each day, they choose where to go in the park, practice real world outdoor skills like making fire, and design their own games and challenges.
They learn from talented local artists who inspire them by demonstrating diverse forms of creative self-expression.
By practicing collective decision making, they build strong relational skills that help them be better friends and form lasting bonds.
We pick up from PS 321 Upper, PS 039 and PS 107.
ADVENTURERS
Wednesdays at prospect park west & 3rd street
mixed age groups
tuesdays AT THE WONDER VILLAGE
All kids, Adventurers and Wonderers, are welcome to join us for free, creative play in the Wonder Village on Tuesdays.
Our mixed age group program allows older kids to build leadership and become role models for their younger peers while younger kids feel inspired by having good examples of friendship and fun!
We pick up from PS 321 Upper and Lower, PS 039 and PS 107.
DATES & PRICING (2025-2026)
TUESDAYS: MIXED AGE GROUP (GRADES 2-5)
✔ Price: $1,800 for full year (31 sessions) or $594 for Fall season (9 sessions)
In the Winter season, we rent the Picnic House for a hybrid indoor-outdoor experience.

✔ Dates: Tuesdays from Sept. 16, 2025 until June 16 (off Sept. 23, Nov. 4, 11, & 25, Dec. 16 & 23, Jan. 6, Feb. 17, April 7th)
WEDNESDAYS: ADVENTURERS (GRADES 2-5)
✔ Price: $726 for Fall season (11 sessions) until December 10th, 2025
✔ School pick ups: PS 321 Upper School, PS 039, PS 107 (minimum 4 kids must register or a refund will be issued)
✔ Dates: Wednesdays from Sept 17 to Dec 10, 2025 (off Sept. 24 & Nov. 26)
No Winter session in 2026 (you can register for Tuesdays with the mixed ages group). Spring session will restart on March 18, 2026.
THURSDAYS: wONDERERS (GRADES K-1)
✔ Price: $726 for Fall season (11 sessions) until December 10th, 2025
✔ School pick ups: PS 321 Lower School, PS 039, PS 107 (minimum 4 kids must register or a refund will be issued)
✔ Dates: Thursdays from Sept. 18 to Dec. 11, 2025 (off Oct. 2 & Nov. 27)
No Winter session in 2026 (you can register for Tuesdays with the mixed ages group). Spring session will restart on March 19, 2026.
