A summer of Wonder Adventures can have a long lasting impact on a child’s life. Help us expand the impact of School of Wonder!
As part of our mission to bring wonder to all children, we are launching a scholarship to invite kids from underserved communities to experience a summer of wonder adventures.
Each scholarship, valued at $1,800, provides full funding for one child to attend a three-week program session offered in July or August.
Our goal for this first year is to offer 8 scholarships.
We would appreciate your financial support to achieve this goal!
HOW IT WORKS
School of Wonder is partnering with public schools across Prospect Park to identify candidates
Private donors provide the funding for the scholarships
Scholarship candidates are identified by partner schools and are selected by School of Wonder based on the following criteria:
Financial need and access to summer enrichment opportunities
Curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning
Social-emotional readiness and ability to engage in a group setting
Recommendation from a teacher or school leader.
